I have an allergy how can I check if a product is suitable for me?
You’ll find a full ingredients list, including allergens, listed on each product page of our website as well as on the back of each packet of Allen’s lollies. To view our Gluten and Nuts avoidancelists please visit https://www.nestle.com.au/en/nhw/product-lists
Do Cheekies contain Gluten, are they Gluten Free?
In May 2026, there was a recent update to the allergen information for our Allen’s Cheekies following a change in production. Allen’s Cheekies no longer contain any gluten-containing ingredients in the recipe or through cross-contact. However, they are not labelled as gluten free, as we don’t batch test these products. During this transition, you may notice some packs on shelf showing different allergen statements. We recommend always checking the allergen and ingredient information on the pack at the time of purchase and before consumption, to make sure it’s right for your needs.
Do Allen's Bananas 300g contain gluten? Why is gluten listed as an allergen, but not in the ingredients list?
Allen’s Bananas contain wheat and gluten and may contain milk; the product is not gluten free. Whilst Gluten is not from an ingredient within the product, Gluten may be present due to the wheat starch used on the manufacturing line during production.

Do Allen’s lollies contain Alcohol?
Generally, we do not use alcohol as an ingredient in our products. In some instances, we may add a flavour that has been extracted using some alcohol or contains an alcohol base. When we use these types of flavours, it’s possible that there may be some very small amounts of alcohol left in the final product. The alcohol is not a fermentable or drinking alcohol.
I’m trying to find a particular Allen’s Lolly but can’t find it?
To keep our Allen’s range fun and exciting, unfortunately, we have to stop making some of our lollies to make way for new ones. Sometimes certain lollies can only be found at particular retailers. If you’re still looking for a product, contact us and we’ll try to help.
Is the packaging for the Allen’s Lollies recyclable?
Our lolly experts choose packaging that’s designed for recycling, wherever possible. While recycling soft plastics is not available at the moment, as soon as collection is back up and running, you’ll be able to recycle your Allen’s bags.
Always check the Australasian Recycling Label on pack to know what bin to put it in!
